Glimmer of Love

My current obsession of this moment is something I received from my wonderful aunt for Christmas this year! It's The Bobbi Brown Pink Shimmer Brick Compact. It adds subtle highlight to your cheeckbones with a hint of pink- perfect for people who are a little scared of blush, like me! It has the perfect amount of glittery, dewy effect. You can wear blush under or over it too, if you want more colour!

It also comes in Bronze, Copper Diamond, Beige, Rose and Apricot! Mmmm...so pretty!

Talk Much?!

I heart my friends! I think I talked more today than on any other day in my life so far! I wonder...

Now I'm trying to think of other days when I have talked excessively. It would be fun if there was some way of calculating things like that. 

I also went to Milestones twice today (different locations). And ate the same thing. I also had Multigrain Cherrios for breakfast (because I stayed at my bro's place last night) which is strange because I am definitely a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast (more later). I am becoming increasingly OCD, which is slightly disconcerting. Anyway, fun day and now I'm getting in bed!

Happy Birthday Bestie!

Happy Birthday baby sis! Unfortunately we aren't together to get all dressed up and party, but I know she'll do it up right! It sucks having my bro and sis so far away and missing all the milestones that we should be celebrating together. 

I went downtown today to meet my mom and get out of the house for a bit! We walked around at Bay and Bloor, one of my fave Toronto shopping areas! We didn't find anything spectacular, but we did have a cute lunch date! On the way to the subway, I saw this GIANT snowman in front of this small house! The awesome thing about it is that I saw the middle-aged man building it by himself a few days ago! It's nice to know some people never stop being kids!

I got to wear my fave new sneaker boots from the bf! They are so fun to wear and super snuggly warm! Also wearing: Tory Burch cardi, target longsleeve T, Citizens jeans, Betsey Johnson earrings and bag and my lovely, cozy Juicy puffer.

Amber Valletta is one of my all time favourite super models. She's so versatile and absolutely gorgeous! Just thought I'd post a few pics of her hotness! Have a fun day everyone and stay warm! (This Canadian winter is starting to get to me! hehe)

Good Morning Charlie!

The Dsquared Spring '09 show, was a voluptuous, refined, and simply HOT one! The Charlie's Angels theme brought back cuts from the 70's with luscious hair and big glasses. There were adorable three piece suits, perfectly cut and super flattering. Above are some of my faves-the black vest with the bow, the cream, big button, puffed sleeve jacket, the grey suit with silver vest, and the khaki hot pants with vest! OMG, these guys know how to make a woman look incredible! Plus look at the last pic of Dean and Dan- how adorably handsome are they in their matching outfits?! I wish I had grown up in the 70's, but I guess we all get to relive them for spring!

Shopping Date- with a mission (or two)

Katie and I walked around the Eaton Centre today- I felt like I hadn't been there in forever! Whenever I'm shopping, I like to have a mission, even if I know that I won't buy anything. It's just really fun to have a purpose. And then, if you do stumble upon the object of your desire, it is just that much more exciting. How many times have you been shopping for something specific and it's the only thing you just can't find?! Yeah, about every time for me, but then there are those few times that it works out beautifully and I guess it's really just meant to be! 

So anyway, on our mission list today:

1. leather bag- something really luscious looking, but not flashy

2. winter coat- something peacoat like, but with that little something extra 

3. jeans with "the right" fit

4. nail polish in a raspberry shade 

Of the things on the list, we found nothing! But Katie got a super soft hoodie with luxurious faux fun in the hood part! We also saw Bride Wars which was silly, but great girly fun!

We stopped at Coach where I tried to find this adorable headband I saw in a magazine so I could show it to Katie, and the saleslady tried to make us wait around while she tried forever to find it on her computer. We were starving, and finally managed to escape her- she was clearly a little bored...
