Help!

I'm having a minor shoe dilemma...I really want to get a hot pair of chunky sandals for spring, but they are all sky high! I'm already over six feet tall, so I don't need the extra platform. I like wearing heels but I don't want them to be excessive and I want to get a lot of wear out of them. I'm thinking about getting the black pair at the bottom, because they are super cute and only $30 at Target (I will only be 6'5"!). I guess I won't feel as bad because the others range from $90-$350 at Nordstrom. What do you think!?

McQueen for Target

On March 4th, Alexander McQueen's collection for Target comes out! For the ad campaign, they are using these dolls, instead of real people. Weird? Or a clever money saver? Maybe both. Anyway, it's different and adds a bit of character- the dolls are cute and a sassy.  I'm excited to see the clothes in person!

Tar Heel Fun!

Today the BF and I went to a special screening of this HBO special about the UNC- Duke rivalry. It was AWESOME! If you are at all into basketball, or are just curious, I would DEFINITELY check it out! It's coming to HBO on February 23rd at 9pm. Check out the trailer below!  Oh and the UNC- Duke game is this Wednesday so it's going to be crazy around here! GO HEELS!

Finally Friday! I'm so excited for the weekend- it's going to be a hot one!

Here are a few pages from my most recent book...

I'm always ripping up magazines and cutting out pictures. I find it to be not only extremely relaxing, but super inspirational. I can't even count how many notebooks and sketchbooks I have full of random pictures. I've been doing this since I was 11, so it's fun to look back and see how my tastes have changed. These days I also find amazing pictures on the web, but there's something thats just so cool about having tangible pictures on glossy paper...I used to not touch my Harper's Bazaar and Vogue because I wanted to keep them, but they started taking over my room, so I finally made the reluctant decision to go through them and take out my favourite pics. I have also always had this thing about paint chips! I can't pass them without grabbing a few fun colours. I don't know why this is, but I now have a shoebox overflowing with them! You'd be surprised how often they've come in handy! What inspires you? I know a few people who make these random books too...do you?
