I got my March issue of Marie Claire the other day and fell in love with this editorial... I'd love to look this good just hanging out. I'm definitely having a little bit of a lace moment...

Less is more- just this once!

Normally, I run with the motto 'more is more', but the Jil Sander, Spring 2011 collection has brilliantly succeeded in making 'less' a ton more appealing! This collection is so simple and fresh and awesome- hello navy and white stripped maxi dress! The colors are perfect and I love all the volume. Especially after layering so much this winter, I'm super excited to have dressing involve a few less pieces!

Celebs are loving Jil Sander too this season! Here are a couple red carpet shots, and despite some mixed reviews, I'm all about these looks! Ugh. LOVE.

Fringe Fun

in desperate need of a change, and drowning my sorrows because my sis and bff aren't coming to visit me anymore this weekend, i decided to get some bangs and do a little retail therapy! 3 dresses, 2 tunics and, a feather skirt later, I went to see Michele for a new 'do/ and some solid girl talk. totally feeling better and ready for a fun weekend with my super fun hubs and kooky animals!

Veggies and Mustard Legs

I don't cook very often because I really just don't enjoy it that much. I WISH i was one of those people that found it relaxing and fun, but to me, it's just stressful and annoying and i'm always left with a huge mess! Here's my attempt at something...really it just involved throwing any ingredients i could find into one pot and boiling them together! certainly was colorful, although, when it was done it looked 'kind like barf, but tastes ok' (direct quote from hubs!) haha and yes, we do end up eating out a lot!
Outfit post...it's been awhile, i know...i just always forget or am in a hurry...plus i don't have the most exciting wardrobe! anyway, wearing Karen Kane lace top, TSE sweater, United Colors skirt, Hue mustard tights, UGGS- that i have been living in!
