Wedding Weekend!

Last weekend we went to our friends' wedding and had the best time! They had the most AWESOME candy buffet I've EVER seen! I definitely got my sugar fix that night! They also had a super fun photo booth- which you can see we took full advantage of! It was awesome to hang out with friends we don't get to see very often, and watch two awesome people commit their lives to each other!
Love...le sigh!

Swan Lake

First pics of Nicole Richie's wedding dress (1 of 3!) are out! it's a GORGEOUS Marchesa...and soooo perfect! She looks amazing, as usual! I love her hair too- reminds me of my AMAZING bridesmaids! Ugh, we need another wedding, people!

We Totally Got Married!!!

It really was the best day ever! No, best WEEK ever! I got to spend it with my best friends and awesome fam (old and new!). I can't even describe how cool it was to have everyone there together! Ugh, can we do it again, please!? Here are a few pics....

Here's the pic we used for our wedding invites! Our friend Aaron took it and it came out pretty awesome! I didn't think there would be any pics of me where I wasn't making a super awkward face, but fortunately they found one! Anyway, we did this in the driveway of a random church we found and the super cute old priest came out and we let him sit in the car...he felt so cool! (Don't forget to check out the license plate!)
OMG, 43 days until our wedding! I'm so excited! There's still so much to do....I've got 4 dresses pretty much done, 1 well in the works and 2 bridesmaids who might be walking down the aisle naked! Okay, that won't happen...we might do a little decoration DIY-ing this weekend. I'll try to get some pics soon!

Project Bridesmaid Update

I'm not sure if I've ever posted about this project, because it's so close to my heart, but here goes!
I'm about half way through sewing my bridesmaids dresses! About a quarter way through, I definitely had some concerns about taking on this project! I have 7 bridemaids, and only one lives within a two hour drive! The others are all at least 12 hours away. As you can probably assume, this makes fittings pretty much impossible! I definitely don't want to be sewing the whole night before the wedding! I know it will be okay, but I do have moments of slight panic, where I imagine the dresses looking, and fitting, nothing like I hoped! Don't get me wrong though- I'm totally happy with what I have so far- I just hope the girls will love them! Okay, back to my life in the sewing dungeon!!!

Post Haste!

OMG! Invitations are out to everyone in Canada! They should be getting to people soon...scary! This things actually happening!!! eeeek! (ps. this is NOT my invitation- I don't want to ruin the surprise!)

Showertime

My bridesmaids threw me the most AMAZING shower last weekend! It really was better than I could have ever imagined! The decorations- all pink and orange- were super fun, the food was delicious, and I got to hang out with all of the most important women in my life! The 13 hour drive home was definitely worth it, although the drive back was pretty rough!
The shower definitely made all this wedding stuff seem a little more real and I'm so excited for the next few months!

I've totally been neglecting posting, only because this wedding stuff, fun trips and other craziness has been taking up so much time! Here's a peek at our latest project- for our invites! They need to get sent out STAT! When we get them done, I'll post the final! This shoot was so much fun and I'm beyond excited about the result!!! nice car eh! no, sadly not mine...
On another note, I went to NYC last weekend to hang out with my girlfriends, and it was AWESOME!!! We walked, shopped, and ate ourselves crazy! (and we found the PERFECT ties for the groomsmen! eeeek! SO in LOVE! will post later)
This weekend is Memorial Day, so we're going to hang out in Charleston- you can find me on/in the water! Summer's here and there are so many exciting things happening! I hope everyone's ready for lots of fun in the SUN and summer LOVIN'!!!

The One

I FOUND MY DRESS!!! i'm SO excited and absolutely in LOOOOOVE with it!!! (this isn't it- this is just the other dress that I want!) anyway, the real dress is INCREDIBLE and I'm so excited to see it when it gets here in July! I tried it on about 4 times before I chose it, but I think I really knew the first time! Now on to more wedding planning...

More Dresses!

AARrgh...so I almost bought a wedding dress...for the third time! I haven't had that "it's THE dress" feeling yet, but I'm also not sure I will. I just don't think I'm that kind of person! Too bad, because that would probably make the whole process easier! Don't get me wrong, I'm having SO much fun trying on dresses...it's just that I don't see it ending! haha I think there are just too many dresses out there and I want to try them all on before I choose. Seriously. I can make it my job.
Anyway, the one today was soooo pretty! I got measured and everything! Well, I know where it is if I want it...haha I need serious help!

Wedding Couture

I think I would faint if I got to wear an Elie Saab Couture dress...I can't stop drooling over these! I don't know what kind of dress I'm going to get, but I'm definitely going to try to get my hands (just a small touch!) on one of these! Just to be in the presence of something so incredible...okay, yeah you think it's just a dress, but you're wrong. OMG, I am in love! Can't wait to try on dresses!!! Happy Monday dolls! xoxx
