Around the corner

Since it's cooled off a bit here-it's only 95 degreess, and not in triple digits- I've been thinking a little bit more about fall! I've been a HUGE Kelly Wearstler fan for awhile now, and I'm SO excited to see that she's adding to her awesome interior design with a new clothing line. Here are some of her interiors:

Mad About Blue

It's kinda ridiculous how obsessed with color I am. It just makes me SO happy, that I feel a little bit like a freak! It also results in a constant desire to redecorate/repaint my whole house every other week! Here's some inspiration for you blue lovers out there...
And a 'blue' random fact: The FIRST thing I ever said to my husband (before HI, like a normal person), was 'What's your favorite color?' ugh, so embarrassing! Fortunately, he answered 'blue', instead of running away! :P

After my few days in Florida and Charleston, I'm SO ready to move to the beach! One thing I've known my whole life is that I need to live near the water. Well, this might just be my dream house- and I'm totally willing to relocate to New Zealand! Talk about indoor-outdoor living...Who's coming with me?!

Cooking Pretty

I'm dying to give our kitchen a TOTAL makeover, but unfortunately, it's just going to have to wait a little bit. For now, I'm on a mission to find lots of fun accessories and gadgets that will spice it up a little! Enjoy, and happy Monday! I hope this week is awesome for everyone!

Closet Space

It's official...I'm turning our office into my dream closet! I need to do a little planning, and then we're off to IKEA! Any suggestions on what my magical dressing room should include!? Mini-fridge! Lots of sparkly lights! I'm soooo excited! Here are a few inspiration pics!

Playing House

I know, I know, I should be sewing...but I'm so distracted by creating my ultimate dream house!
Um, indoor, super- chic, ultra-luxe pool!? Yes please! I would have to have a teeny bit more room for a snack bar and some lounge chairs.
Next, a clean, cozy, bright SNUGGLEROOM! Those cushion are calling! I love the blue and grey together...
Pink kitchen!? Heck YES! Mine would be a little more modern, but the pink is perfect! Ugh...unfortunately I've been banned from pink paint for 16 months. No joke. :(
Ahhh, an outdoor oasis! Perfect for relaxing and entertaining! My one request is that it maintains itself, as I have a serious black thumb. So sad.
A dessert cart- that is always full of luscious cakes, cupcakes, pies and candies!
An uber-modern dining room- this one could be popped with whatever colour you're in the mood for! Everyone's invited to dinner!
And finally, a super modern house for Rowley- I will let her decorate however she likes! She'll have a dessert cart of puppy treats- the mini version of mine!
K, back to my sewing dungeon! You think I'm being over dramatic, but it really looks like something very colorful exploded all over the room and I'm in constant shackles of thread and fabric!
