Can it PLEASE be christmas again, right NOW! I want a pair of these Miu Miu platforms SOOO bad! I'll take any of them! Ugghhh they are so incredible. I guess for now I'll just lust after them...

PUPPYTIME!

We are trying to adopt a puppy and I'm SOOO excited! The BF promised that we'd start looking after Christmas when our house would be set up and ready for a new little friend! Here are two that we will find out about in a few days! Aren't they just heartbreaking?!?!

Lost Lobster :(

I was waiting for this sweater dress to do on sale...but now it is sold out everywhere! I hate when that happens, but I wasn't about to pay $275 for it, unfortunately. Anyway, isn't it super cute!? I don't know what it is about lobsters...they are just so funny!

Our pool is open and it's time to get in the water! It's also time to get a new bathing suit- maybe a new body too. haha. Here are a few from VS that are super cute! This jacket is perfect if you want to start wearing your spring dresses before it gets super warm out. Plus, it will give you that perfect masculine-feminine combo.

MICHAEL by Michael Kors metallic platform sandal: $149.95, nordstrom.com

This sandal will definitely make any outfit HOT, and it actually looks pretty comfortable. It comes in black too, but I love this colour for spring and it goes with everything!

Asymmetrical Mike & Chirs stripped dress: $275, revolveclothing.com

I am so in love with this dress. It looks super comfortable and has sweet button details and pockets. If it goes on sale, I think I just might have to get it!

Tulip skirt: $69, Bananarepublic.com

This skirt is great because it has a cute print, but can easily function as a neutral. The shiny fabric can be dressed up or down, with a nice blouse or a simple tee.

Neutral Territory

Neutral definitely doesn't mean boring! Look for pieces with interesting details and comfortable, natural fabrics. A few basic pieces can take you through spring- just get out those accessories! Here are a few neutrals that are on my Spring Must Haves list:

Shopping Date- with a mission (or two)

Katie and I walked around the Eaton Centre today- I felt like I hadn't been there in forever! Whenever I'm shopping, I like to have a mission, even if I know that I won't buy anything. It's just really fun to have a purpose. And then, if you do stumble upon the object of your desire, it is just that much more exciting. How many times have you been shopping for something specific and it's the only thing you just can't find?! Yeah, about every time for me, but then there are those few times that it works out beautifully and I guess it's really just meant to be! 

So anyway, on our mission list today:

1. leather bag- something really luscious looking, but not flashy

2. winter coat- something peacoat like, but with that little something extra 

3. jeans with "the right" fit

4. nail polish in a raspberry shade 

Of the things on the list, we found nothing! But Katie got a super soft hoodie with luxurious faux fun in the hood part! We also saw Bride Wars which was silly, but great girly fun!

We stopped at Coach where I tried to find this adorable headband I saw in a magazine so I could show it to Katie, and the saleslady tried to make us wait around while she tried forever to find it on her computer. We were starving, and finally managed to escape her- she was clearly a little bored...

Body Bag

I'm so sick right now, but even a stupid cold can't stop me from obsessing over this Chloe jumpsuit! I love how comfortable it looks, yet still has girly ruffle details and is uber versatile. It can be dressed up or down, and worn for day or night. Where would you not wear it?! It would definitely make being sick a little more fun...

Beautiful Monsters

At the airport yesterday, back to snowy Toronto, I watched a few fashion shows. These last few dresses in the Giambattista Valli show mesmerized me as I watched them go down the runway. They look amazing in the pictures, but to see them move is another story. There is so much fabric there that it almost looks like fur! I feel like I could really use one up here in this cold weather. How much fun would it be to walk around in...winter wedding anyone??!

We picked up Katie from the airport yesterday and drove downtown to get some lunch. On the way, I stopped to check on the Juicy jacket that I have been drooling over for a few months now! I knew it was on sale, but it was still a little too expensive. We walked into the store and I found out that all the sale stuff was an extra 25% off. I could work with that! So then I tried it on- there was only 1 left in my size. As I was taking it off, the back of a button fell off. The sales lady immediately said she could take 10% off! I have no idea what it was that fell off, but it didn't come from that jacket! So anyway, that was my luck of yesterday and I got to bring home my new poofy pink cozy coat!

Hurry Up Spring!

Fall Fashion Week is coming up soon, but I'm getting excited about SPRING! It's all about the fun dresses and I found a bunch of reeeally cute ones! On another note, I went to Target the other day and they have bathing suits out! I was pleasantly surprised that I loved almost ALL of them! Anyway, bathing suit shopping will have to wait awhile, and for now i will get lost in fun dresses!

New Sneaks to be!

I have always had a (strange) habit of buying things I thought were really ugly. It really had to be that particular kind of ugly that made me laugh all day when I wore whatever it was. When I first saw high heel sneakers, I was laughing. I thought for sure that those were just waaaay too ugly, even for me! But, yes, I have fallen in love with this SUPER FUN pair! Now all I have to do is choose the colour!
