Around the corner

Since it's cooled off a bit here-it's only 95 degreess, and not in triple digits- I've been thinking a little bit more about fall! I've been a HUGE Kelly Wearstler fan for awhile now, and I'm SO excited to see that she's adding to her awesome interior design with a new clothing line. Here are some of her interiors:

Yesterday's Project

Hey Dolls!
I found this fabric a few weeks ago, and just HAD to have it! I only got one yard, planning on making a skirt, but it really wanted to be a dress! So here's the final product- I wish I had a better pic but this was the best of the bunch! I had no photographer today! It has a racerback and side zip. What do you think!?

Pale and Pink

I picked up this easy-breezy silk DKNY dress a few days ago...it was originally priced at a mere $385, but I managed to snag it for $30- definitely more in my budget at the moment! It's one of those dresses that my husband doesn't like because it fits kinda like a bag! On the other hand, that was a selling point for me! I can eat as much as I want and won't feel like I'm going to explode out of my it! (is it wrong that I buy clothes based on if I can eat lots in them!? haha) Anyway, it's super light and versitile- can be dressed up or down- so it's a keeper! Plus, it has pockets and glitter! Enough said.

Touchdown

They're here! And Kate changed on the plane...The dress is Erdem, and though based in London, the designer is Canadian (again!). Is this going to be a trend for the rest of the visit? I guess it would be kinda cool, since there really aren't that many super huge Canadian labels...

Whoa, such a pretty Glamour mag cover! I love Emma Stone as a blond! I just committed to 3 years of the mag, so I'm excitedly awaiting this issue in the mail!

Light and Lace

I got my March issue of Marie Claire the other day and fell in love with this editorial... I'd love to look this good just hanging out. I'm definitely having a little bit of a lace moment...
Hope your monday was awesome- I made the hubs and a friend suffer through the Bachelor episode (does anyone else think Emily has pretty much got this one?!) and i know they secretly enjoyed it! :P
